Every year on March 24th, Lady Pohamba Private Hospital proudly recognizes World TB Day. We are dedicated to making a difference in the fight against TB by launching a targeted outreach campaign to provide support, care, and share important health-related information. Our main focus is supporting patients undergoing TB treatment to prevent the further spread of the disease. We understand the vital role of early detection and treatment adherence in primary healthcare.

As a quaternary care hospital, we actively partner with primary healthcare centres to enhance TB prevention and care outcomes. By working together with these centres, LPPH strive to develop effective strategies to eradicate TB and ensure timely, appropriate care for all. In 2023, our outreach efforts were at the Groot Aub clinic, and in 2024, we shifted our focus to the Okuryangava Clinic to raise awareness about TB prevention.
