The Training & Academic Development department comprises of a dedicated group of hospital staff, including doctors & nursing staff.
The emphasis is on training of staff & other medical professionals to improve clinical practice & clinical knowledge. These can be in the form of informal or formal training, Continuous Professional Development (CPD) activities, Lectures, seminars & workshops.
Presentation of other courses such as CPR can be provided with prior arrangement through the training department, these are accredited courses presented by international registered instructors with the American Heart Association (AHA) & the Resuscitation Council of Southern Africa (RCSA).
The Training & Academic Development department is managed by the Training & Development Consultant.
