Lady Pohamba Private Hospital, in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and Social Services of Namibia, has launched a free Human Papillomavirus (HPV) vaccination campaign.
The HPV vaccine protects against the strains responsible for the majority of cervical cancer cases, as well as other HPV-related conditions. It is available as a single-dose vaccine for girls aged from 9 to 14 years.
Vaccinations will be available at the Baby Clinic at Lady Pohamba Private Hospital in Windhoek, on Wednesday, 29 July from 09h00 to 13h00, and again on Monday, 3 August from 12h00 to 16h00. No booking is necessary these days.
