Dr. Sven A. Obholzer is a highly skilled ophthalmologist with over 13 years of experience in the field of eye care and surgery. Born and raised in Namibia, he pursued his medical studies and specialized training at Stellenbosch University’s Tygerberg Hospital in Cape Town. In 2012, he earned his Master’s Degree in Medicine (Ophthalmology) and obtained a Fellowship from the College of Ophthalmologists of South Africa (FC Ophth).

With a special interest in retinal surgery, cataract procedures, and anterior segment surgery, Dr. Obholzer is dedicated to providing comprehensive ophthalmic care to his patients. His new practice is conveniently located at the LPPH West Suites, where he is excited to offer advanced eye surgeries using state-of-the-art facilities at LPPH theatres.
