In 2022, he obtained his Master of Medicine (MMed) in Surgery from Stellenbosch University, following the attainment of the Fellowship of the College of Surgeons of South Africa (FCS) in 2021. These prestigious qualifications reflect his dedication to academic rigor and advanced surgical training.

Dr. Jatileni further completed a highly specialized fellowship in colorectal surgery at Tygerberg Hospital, under Stellenbosch University’s Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences. He is also highly trained in minimally invasive surgical techniques, enabling him to offer patients cutting-edge treatments that promote faster recovery, reduced pain, and fewer complications.

Since 2017, he has served as a general surgery registrar, earning a strong reputation for his meticulous technique, calm and caring approach, and tireless work ethic. His colleagues and patients consistently commend his humility, professionalism, and unwavering dedication.
