Dear Lady Pohamba Private Hospital Management,
It has taken me exactly seven months and a few weeks to write this message, and every time I drive past your hospital, I feel a tug of guilt for not saying this sooner. What your incredible staff did for my family and me deserves to be acknowledged with sincere gratitude.
There’s a saying that goes, “Let time pass, and if you still feel the same, then you know it was genuine.” That captures my exact feelings. On the 18th of October, 2024, I gave birth to my first child. What I expected to be a nerve-wracking and possibly traumatic experience turned out to be the most beautiful, empowering journey, all thanks to the team that was on duty that day.
Though I may not spell their names correctly, I want to thank Sister Tsu, Sister Maria, and the rest of the compassionate, dedicated team who cared for me. Their calmness, warmth, and reassuring words made sure I didn’t feel the discomfort of induced labor, not just physically but emotionally too. Their experience and encouragement distracted me from the pain and replaced it with peace. Words truly fail to describe the love and attentiveness I received.
My son, Zakai, is now a big, healthy, carefree boy. But every time I look at him, I remember the care he was bathed in from the moment he came into this world. That love still lives in him and follows him wherever he goes. I believe life is spiritual, and I’m convinced that favour was spoken into his life from the day of his birth by the very hands that welcomed him.
In short, although this is long overdue, thank you. Thank you to your exceptional staff, and to my doctor, Dr. Stemmet, for recommending Lady Pohamba and guiding me through one of the most precious moments of my life.
And yes, just eight months from now, I’ll be back again. I’m already looking forward to the comfort of your beautiful rooms, the peaceful environment, and the heartfelt conversations with your incredible team.
Please find attached a photo of Zakai today — a reminder of the beautiful beginning you helped us have.
With gratitude,
